1. Start Fresh Find a spot with natural light (preferred) and get it prepped. Start by clearing your space and gathering only the minimal amount of makeup needed for your daily beauty routine. Clean
Wipe down makeup organizers/drawers with damn cloth
Wipe down makeup products, compacts, etc. (you'll thank me!)
Deep clean or spot clean makeup brushes
2. Organize
Organize your makeup brushes.
Only place your frequently used brushes at arms reach on the table.
Sort compacts, makeup palettes, lip products by type
Organize your makeup necessities in small boxes or use a drawer organizer
3. Storage A small table with or without a drawer should be enough surface space.
Hold tower up to the wall to the desired placement
Mark 4 points where the tower will hang securely
Use dry wall anchors and screws at 4 points
Depending on your walls, or if you are able to find a stud, use anchors to hold the tower securely.
Hang storage tower and adjust the screws to securely hold the tower in place. 4. Set up vanity table top!
Center your vanity mirror
Place brushes next to makeup organizer
Have frequently used items nearby (foundation, palette)
Add a stylish accent piece for decor (succulent plant)
5. Decor Pieces Hang a decorative canvas or piece of artwork to set the mood or make a statement!
Makeup Canvas Artwork
Product/Brush holder suggestions:
Decorate mug
Mason jar
Decorative pot
Adding a trendy succulent or small decor piece personal to you will customize the space as your own!
6. Seating Add a stylish vanity chair or ottoman!
Ottomans work best for smaller spaces to tuck underneath the table. I used an extra ghost chair and added a touch of sophistication with a white faux fur pillow!
I hope you got inspired to create your very own minimalistic vanity! To see how I organized and designed mine, watch the following video:
