The time is now, the time has come! If you’re at home (which you probably should be) and you’ve been putting off cleaning out and organizing your closet, now is the time to do it. I’m sharing my best tips on how you can get this done, and reap all the benefits of an organized closet!

I’m sharing my closet tour along with tips and what I use to organize my closet. The storage I use is affordable and easy to find! Find affordable storage solutions that fit your wardrobe needs and something that is flexible with your changing style.

These steps don’t have to be done in one day. Spread them out if you need to! Depending on how many things you have to go through. Let's get this #springcleaning on!

1. Declutter Start by de-cluttering your closet and purging what you don't need/wear anymore. Separate into KEEP - DONATE - TRASH areas. 2. Divide Divide KEEP items into categories

  • Clothes (hang/fold)

  • Shoes

  • Accessories (ex. handbags, hats, socks)

  • In-season accessories

  • Out-of-season accessories

3. Deep Clean and Envision Give your closet a good clean (wipe down surfaces, vacuum/sweep the floor)

This step is often overlooked. But if you have successfully cleared your closet entirely, take a step back and envision your goal. You can start fresh and only put back what you need. (Go full konmari if you need to!)

4. Organization and Placement Now that everything is separated into category, time to organize them back into your closet!

  • Label if necessary

Take it step by step.. then follow these bonus tips to elevate your organization and style! *Bonus Tips*

  • Take shoes out of their boxes and place into matching storage boxes to save space and, aesthetic!
