One bedroom, One bath condominium | January 2016
We live in a humble condominium in Washington State. Our one bedroom, 658 sq. ft. home was newly renovated and ready to move-in. My family and I made this our home in March of 2016. We both knew when we saw it, it was the perfect starter home for us, and absolutely loved the location and neighborhood it's in. I was happy to take on the challenge of making this one-bedroom work for us. Our daughter, Kamille, was only 1 year and 3 months when we moved from Hawaii to Washington. With a blank canvas, a budget set, and decor inspiration saved on my phone, I couldn't wait to hit up the furniture stores to get started! I was able to document some of the transformation on my channel, including a bedroom makeover, furniture haul, and home and office tours. Fast forward to 2017, here are some photos I took of the condo in November. We've made a lot of changes throughout the two years, and it was a fun and creative process for me. I am always finding ways to change things up or rearrange the furniture. As always, I will keep you updated on changes and the progress

Decor Inspiration & Color/Texture Scheme We always agreed on the colors white and gray. We didn't have much choice in the metal fixtures, but the brushed nickel was easy to work with. I love modern lines and mixing them with cozy and earthy textures accents. Painting our walls shades of sleek gray, and the trim a bright white was the first task (goodbye yellow-ish walls and brown trim!) Having a solid color and texture scheme to start from really helped the decorating process.

This will not be our forever home, so we kept the renovations minimal. Our condo is cozy and quant, but we look forward to finding a larger place in the future. I'm so glad I got to document the transformations, DIY projects, and home organization ideas on my channel and blog to share with all of you! Be sure to watch the latest Official Home Tour:
